There are several active land listings in Buckingham County VA. The majority of the listings are under the $500K range, closely followed by the midrange of $500K to $1M. In the past 12 months, there were 3 pending and 2 sales recorded. It is important to note that both these sales are in the larger parcels of 100+ acres. If you are looking to buy a large parcel of land and would like to stretch your buying capacity, Buckingham County is a good place to consider.

The majority of available land listings in Buckingham County are small land parcels, between 21 and 50 acres. While there are a few land listings for larger acreages, it’s important to note that all except two sales in the past 12 months have been for parcels priced under $500K.

At year-end there were a total of 18 active listings, one pending sale, and twelve sales in the past 12 months. Buckingham County could be the place to look if you are in the market for a smaller piece of land, with more affordable prices per acre than other areas of Central Virginia.

There are just six active land parcel listings in Buckingham County sized over 50 acres, with four of them being priced under $500K.

Small land parcels, between 21 and 50 acres, in Buckingham County are all priced under $500K. With eleven active listings and eight sales in the past 12 months, sellers of land parcels of this size can expect a slower time frame for sales.

There are very few land parcel listings in Buckingham County sized between 50 and 100 acres. There are only currently two active listings, one pending sale, and one sale in the past 12 months.

Buyers of large plots of land, over 100 acres, seem to be taking advantage of the lower priced listings under $500K with four sales in the past year and only two active listings. Sellers of large land parcels in Buckingham County could be looking at a very different scenario than sellers of smaller pieces of property.
